This song is the theme for the Shieldheart family. The name Shieldheart is like “Smith” in the D&D world as its a common name in most generators. When we first started I threw it at Joleen and Brian as a concept that they were cousins. Made Zane an NPC as a “babysitter” for the first childhood years and gave them 2 parents I never thought they would fall in love with so hard.
Made me think of Erebus and Lorahana more. What were their lives like before? where did they come from? how are they related to Zane and Benedict as their adopted sons? Who is Elloveve to them?
This song I pictured Erebus standing tall and strong, the brave old knight but more so I heard the voice of Lorahana telling him “He’s a good boy… as is Zane.”
Strength is only one relatively small trait. Their true power is the courageous heart they possess. Remember the oath!
